Is this what our government spends money on? Boob jobs? I thought this was an interesting article only because apparently it is necessary for our female soldiers to have big tits.

That's absolutely ridiculous; I read about this in Human Interest and was disgusted. How can this benefit the war effort?

No one is saying they do. However, the ones that DO want larger breasts should be allowed to get them and if the military wants to keep their surgeons trained then that is their perogative.
It's all quite fine, I think. Surgeon training is necessary. One might have a quibble with a culture that promotes a certain notion of beauty, but no such seems to be completely unlikely.
