A guy from my school,Jack,called me a"hottie",idk if he was messing but before,he and his friend Matt were eating candy,I asked for a piece and Jack said no, but Matt offered to buy me something.Later,Matt tried to sit at me and my friends table, and teased me. We all only have one class together.

It's 2016. Ask him out! He might say yes (and then you'll know he likes you). He might say no (and then you'll know he does not like you in that manner). He might freak out (and then you'll know he's too emotionally immature to bother with).
It would seem that Matt likes you. No to Jack.
