So does anyone know if you get a parking ticket in Boston with NH plates.
Does NH care? How will they get me?
Through their computer system. Pay the ticket.
I know about the computer system, but does NH care about something small like a parking ticket? It is not moving so why should NH be conserned? What will happen if I don't pay it? Registration is done at town hall and they have no way of checking?
Next time you come to Boston...
That will teach you.
Those boots are a blight on society. Gee, let's immobilize a car because we have a parking problem. It immediately becomes a target for vandalism, and then, you have the broken window effect.
I don't know why they don't just tow.
As far as renewing your registration, it will likely show up on NH's computer system, and you'll have to pay the fine or you won't get new tags.

if you wanna see a tow job, just try blocking my driveway

They probably don't really care about the ticket itself (parking ticket usually doesn't affect things like your insurance rates). They MIGHT care a lot about your failure to pay said ticket. You failure to pay it could also get you caught up in a lot of hassle if you ever get stopped for anything in MA.
I think that Thermolance would be great! Just think of the lost revenue due to boot cutting!
Hard to explain why you have that in your car.
Are there any one from NH that has experience with this?

Yup.
I'd pay the ticket just so it didn't come back and bite me in the ass ;-) It's just a little parking ticket and you don't want to go through a lot of grief because of it. If you don't pay, you will also be slapped with late charges.
It was $75.00 and I still had time left on the meter! Just you were not to park there after 4:00 pm!
Not so much for the ticket it is just an unresonable amount! I would have got more satifaction if I parked in a handi cap spot!
Then go to court if you don't like the amount of the ticket.

That amount will double if you don't pay it. I'm shocked that it's so high, but as Jespah said, if you think it's too high, dispute the ticket in court.
You may consider it unreasonable, but consider the drivers in Boston that you inconvenienced because of parking in this spot after 4:00PM. Seeing you were in Boston after 4:00PM you probably saw the amount of traffic as people tried to exit the city on their commute home. The reason some streets do not allow for parking after 4:00 is to help ease this congestion. By remaining in your parking space, you probably caused hundreds of commuters to have large delays because they now need to go around your space where normally this is an additional lane of traffic during rush hour. Ask those drivers if they consider the $75 unreasonable?
Parking lanes that turn into commute lanes? There's a novel concept. The dreams of revenue $$$$$$$$ must have been dancing through the head of whoever thought that up. Especially in a city where they use the boot....
OH, I forgot that Boston drivers do not know where to drive after 4:00!
They have to make there own Road! That is a very poor reason for $75.00!
There are federal standards for driving on roads parking spaces, and walk ways.
It seems they make there own rules and they only know the rules too?
This forum thing is great, it there different subjects on another day? How do I get to others?
