so i dont have a phone but i have an email. my friend has an ipod touch, when i email him, it goes to his email, not his txt. is there any way i can "txt" him from my email to get on his text messages?

thats what i do to my friends who have i phones but what do i do with a ipodtouch?

Have you tried it? It should work as it has a similar OS.

If it were me, I did contact technical support. Also be aware there are retail stores for Apple they that have expert help when you walk in to the store with a problem or give a class on their product and apps.

The customer support at Apple stores are excellent. They go beyond the "call of duty" to make sure the customer is 100% satisfied.
Apple is building Campus 2 near our home that's shaped like a saucer. We pass by there almost every day and see the progress. It's going to be amazing when it's finished.
