I can't get rid of "you've got mail!" please delete it from my browser.

Hey, so this post is unrelated to this issue but I have to post it here reasons I'll explain.

1) I'm not able to see a link to 'create a new post/thread'.
2) I'm not able to tag topics.

Have I done something to lose privileges or is there an issue specific to me?

I can do so, it's on the left, at the bottom of the page

Only the creator of a thread can tag it - that changed a few months ago.

1) there is a link for new questions/discussions under the able?know logo on the upper left as well as on the bottom left of the page

2) Robert removed the tagging option for all but the thread-starter a while back

There should be a MARK ALL MESSAGES AS READ if you don't want to search through the labyrinth of several dozens and dozens of possible message threads in the inbox.
