If your going to make claims then back them up. At least some of the left on this board try to do so and some do it well. You on the other hand are like Michael Moore. You talk **** then expect other people to prove you wrong.

Everything about Bush's AWOL has been hashed over for months at this other forums, nothing new has come out for about a month or so since the last time Bush calimed he has released all his records. This stuff is all out there and has been for quite soome time. If you are that poorly informed that you need me to provide the information, then I respectfully suggest that you might consider spending more time gathering information than spending so much time posting opinions based on ignorance of the facts.

No matter how any rational person looks at it, Kerry's War Record v. Bush's AWOL record. Kerry wins bigtime. Keep bringing it on.

You are in effect asserting that you can rightfully make any claim or accusation that you want here, including accusing people of the commission of crimes, and that anyone who expects you to cite evidence to support your contention is misguided. Furthermore, if there is "tons" of real evidence, as you stated, it would be extremely easy and quick for you to do so, which makes your reluctance to support your name calling all the more puzzling.

Harper, so far the facts have shown that Bush served his tour and received an honorable discharge. Everything else is speculation. You seem to have an insight into this that others are missing, that's why they want you to share what you know.

Interesting choice of words there.....an honorary discharge....quite appropo for a man who gave strictly honorary service.......

The so-called missing records for Bush's ANG service were recently found. This fact was reported in the press, though not widely. He served and got an honorable discharge. As an aside I believe it took more cohones to fly F102s than to serve in swift boats, especially in the early years in 'Nam as noted above. I spent a good deal of time flying off carriers in the Gulf and clearly recall that the only way for a surface officer to get assigned to swift boats was to first screw up on a destroyer. Kerry was on a destroyer just prior to his abbreviated 4 month swift boat tour. We had a word for folks who wrote their own citations for medals. It wasn't flattering.

Rick here's a thought: If the Dutch were a bellicose nation perhaps the PM's war record would be germane to the candidacy

Thank you. May I ask in what way this applies to the president's National Guard Service?

I contend that you are engaging in the common practice of accusing the president of things that are utterly bogus, and that this is precisely the reason why you do not wish to respond further. His service in the National Guard was pretty ordinary and you know that your original mud slinging will not stand much scrutiny.

By the way, did you know that several of the men who served with John Kerry have testified that on numerous separate occasions he forced Vietnamese women to play Russian Roullette, and was also in charge of a group of thugs who demanded protection money from Vietnamese shopkeepers? Several of these witnesses tell a horrific story about a young mother of three small children who died in one of these Russian Roulette games. It is clear from these and other eyewitness accounts that Mr. Kerry, far from being fit to be president, should be immediately tried for war crimes unless some statute of limitations applies.

Brandon, chill out. Somebody's been watching The Deer Hunter. Hey! Can we agree that their service records cancel out and move to discussing their platforms?

If Kerry would decide on a specific platform we could, but it keeps changing all the time!

That would be nice, but even if you and I agree to it, others will continue to make every manner of bogus charge, and run for dear life when asked for proof.

Well, I've been keeping score and it's 387-380. Close enough to kiss your sister.
McG what's wrong with a revolving platform? My lazy susan cabinet is a godsend. And don't forget how much fun a carousel can be.

For entertainment and storage it's great, but for running a government, no so much so.
