In Chinese traditional culture, the exposition of a female body is called "divulgence of spring light". For example, the careless exposition of the female's breast, including tits.
How to properly express "divulgence of spring light" in English?
Oh, I am afraid "strip show" could not express this exactly. Because the show is intentionally done, while the divulgence is often caused inadvertently.
Oh you're absolutely right Ori. I'm afraid there is no way to express "the careless exposition of the female's breast, including tits" in the English language. It is a concept completely alien to our culture. Except...one time I was watching the Super Bowl half-time show...
One comment, as the word "tit" is often used with vulgar connotations, you may want to use "nipple" instead.
I'd say "flash" is the closest I can think of.
An accidental flash.
Yeah except Ori already said it has to be inadvertant. And FLASH is so calculated. An accidental flash is sort of oxymoronic like military intelligence.
I'd go with "indecent exposure." That can fit even careless situations.
I think that "Spring Light Divulged" sounds wonderfully poetic, but I think you might want to use the word exposure instead of exposition, Oristar.
A flash of flesh?
Accidental disrobing?
Surprise peep show?
I don't think accidental flashes are oxymoronic.
A strong breeze and she accidentally flashes the other people in line. (etc.)
Otherwise, I'd say we don't really have a term in English for an accidental exposure of one's naughty bits.
What did they call it when Marilyn Monroe stood over that vent in, what was it, The Seven Year Itch?
Hey, I had nothing to do with it! Fortunate indeed...
Hey Limbodog! You and Patiodog get together and it would be a party!
And BTW: I stand corrected. The world flash has evolved. It can be deliberate although it wasn't originally.
