Well Thok, you're an anomaly here.( hee hee watch him scramble for his dictionary).

When I first arrived here I made a big fuss about how avatars promote cliques and they're bad etc. I even got Setanta to change his for a few days...chortle. I refused to have one. Boy was I mistaken. They're a lot of fun and a boon to navigating the threads. Although I'm pissed at McGentrix for using his as a political sledgehammer.
