My aunt is in her 90's and in pretty good health but she just buried a son. Longevity has it's merits but it also brings it's share of grief and sadness.

eoe:

Old age does bring troubles, especially when you see your family and friends dying and you're still breathing.

If you stay active and decently healthy, you'll age nicely. Smile

Economic life in Israel is so unstable, that I would not like to live until 100. Inflation may destroy all my savings, and I am not sure to be able to correct the situation by means of working when I am 65+. Therefore, I would not like to survive my own retirement.
Of course, if I manage to immigrate to Australia, my mind may change.
