Please help

When I was five, my neighbor moved in. She was five as well. As we got older, we became better friends. One year, she went to a boarding school. She came back about four months later, but we didn't talk much after that. A year later, I developed a crush on her. We have become better friends, but she doesn't know how I feel. I am now in eighth grade, and I suspect she likes me, but I don't want to tell her how I feel, because I don't want things to be awkward between us. We are not really in the same group of friends, but we share the same interests. Normally, I would know what to do, because I am good with these things. But when it happens to me, I'm not. Usually I can tell who likes who. P.S. I hope that I wasn't droning on and giving you useless informtion. I tend to do this, but I don't really try it.
