Hi, I'm a Japanese woman studying Emglish.
My last post was long and
might be confusing you to write your answer, so let me ask again simply.

In the sentence below, can I put "that" between "ensure " and "staff" ??

"In order to creat a better image and attract more affluent clientele, dress codes were introduced to ensure staff maintained a professional appearance."

You can answer Yes or No .

Yes, that would work just fine. Relative pronouns are often omitted intentionally for conciseness.

You can use "that" in your sentence. It is fine to use it.
