I've eaten kiwi before and nothing ever happened to my mouth but today I ate kiwi directly from the rind and my lips swelled up and started bleeding, is this normal?

Oh gosh, you mean the fruit. I was afraid you tried to kiss a kiwi bird, I hear they don't like it.

No. Swollen and bleeding lips are not normal. Could you have an allergy? Or maybe there was some pesticide on the kiwi.

In my opinion, this does not sound NORMAL. How are your lips today?
Did the bleeding finally stop?
