The key of an exercise says the answer is to. But to sounds wrong to me and of should be used. Do you think the book is wrong?

-This was considered a sort of ignorance __ the things that we put faith in.

Yes, i think the book is wrong, and i agree that one should use "of." As i've suggested in the past, your source is not a native speaker of English.
