My friend, who is rich, wants to lead his life in the way a poor man leads. He thinks that this will help him to realize the sorrow of poor people. I told him that it is not possible to lead a life like a poor, when you are rich. Can I say the following sentences?

Being like poor will not be possible for a rich man. OR
It will not be possible for a rich man to like being poor.

@Azah,

Quote:

The second one is okay, but both need improvement.

Try:

Living like a poor person would not be easy for a rich man.

It is unlikely that a rich man would enjoy being poor.
