This is the first time I have had to sit quietly and write you back. Please accept my apologies for the long delay, but it seems as if everyone and everything requested my time to cook, repair things, go shopping, etc. Have you ever had the feeling you are walking out the door to do something and walking in at the same time?

I cannot understand the meaning of the sentences stated above. Will anybody help me?
