I'd say:

Chick Village is three miles East off the coast of Apple Island's Smith Town.

"Smith Town" should be put in first place because the thread is to help the writing of a brief introduction for the town.

So I preferred what Vivien wrote.
But thanks for joining.

Smith Town is on the eastern coast of Apple Island, 3 miles west of if Chick Village isle.

Vivien's (no offense) reads like it should be 2 sentences.

true - it could be a second sentence or use a semi colon instead of the comma.

the second half of your sentence doesn't work! 3 miles west of if Chick Village isle !! .. 3miles to the west is Chick Village island?????

wow, I don't know how that extra "if" found it's way in there. thanks forp pointing that out. If you take out the "if" it is how I meant it...replacing the "of if" with "is" as you suggest doesn't work, though.
