Unfortunately, these conditions grew worse as the years grew on me. I was in dire need of a savior! Nevertheless, it came in the form of my dear Uncle S. He was great with words and even better with his witty one-liners!
Wherever he is up in the heavenly yonder, I would bet my entire life's wealth and fortune that he would be bringing bliss and euphoria to the ones around him.

Yes, there is one major error in all the threads you've been starting. That is the assumption that you can just cobble together any random expressions you've encountered in English and thereby learn creative writing. Your writing sucks.
