Earlier in life, as a young man I was trodden with many a personal problems. Some of which, rooted back to my troubled childhood. Even though, the list was arduously long, the ones causing the worst setbacks were the lack of self-confidence and self-inflicted phobias.
Any errors ?
Earlier in life, as a young man I was trodden [trodden? did you mean ridden?] with many a personal problems [either: many personal problems OR many a personal problem].[use comma not fullstop/period] Some [therefore lower case s to start 'some'] of which, [no comma should be here] rooted [rooted? did you mean dated?] back to my troubled childhood. Even though, [remove comma] the list was arduously [arduously? consider omitting] long, the ones causing the worst setbacks were the lack of self-confidence and [insert 'the' here] self-inflicted phobias.
@kuben123,
I can't get past trodden. What are you trying to say by using that word? It's certainly not correct modern English.
@dlowan,
Earlier in life I was plagued by many a personal problem, some of which were deeply rooted in my troubled childhood. The ones causing the worst setbacks were the lack of self-confidence and self-inflicted phobias.
Better?
