Lesbian drama: internalized stereotype?

I've only recently come out as bi, still a baby gay I guess. I have an older bi friend who is considerably more experienced. She's told me that she no longer dates women, because the lesbians/bi women in our area are "all drama." That sounded like casual misogyny: the run-of-the-mill, "I can't be around 50% of the human population, they're all drama, so I only hang out with men" crap. Is it a real thing that I'm too green to know about, or is it bullshit?

@Jasmine7826,
I think your pal is overstating things.

Dramatically, as it were.

She can't possibly know.

PS People are individuals and shouldn't be shoved into some one-size-fits-all stereotype. That's true regardless of which wedding tackle they sport, or which they like to be near.

@jespah,
Second post in a thread, and already you bring up the concept of a wedding.... Adding to the drama, Jespah? Very Happy Very Happy Wink

I find myself in full agreement with you, btw.
