Hey guys

How does the following sence look like in passive voice?

Someone (doesn't matter who) moves the files to another disk pool during the day.

The data is being moved to another disk pool during the day.
The data is getting moved to another disk pool.
...?

I'd like to sympathize the action, rather than WHO did it.
Please help me out.

@certainlyjacked,
How about just

The data is moved to another disk pool during the day.

That's how I would say it.

@certainlyjacked,
If it's a continuous action or occurence then both sentences are fine.

What do you mean by "sympathize the action"?

@Setanta,
I am always satisfied by you, Setanta. In this regard, my favorite poster is you.

This thread was started so that the passive voice could be discussed. This is not understood by you?

@maxdancona,
"All I need is you, Setanta."

Hey, max, that's a perfect title for a love song! Very Happy

But your new song needs a logo. (Don't ask me why.) Let me suggest you use the following:

The emoticon on the right is Setanta. The one on the left is you. Now, I do realize that kinkiness is implied; but if it works, use it. Smile

@wmwcjr,
Upon reflection, I would delete this post if I could. I should have been more thoughtful when I wrote it. Actually, I shouldn't have written it at all. My sincerest apologies.
