Have I got this translation correct? I would like to say "Welcome to my Garden' in Italian. . I am placing a sign at the gate to my garden and was unsure of my weeny two semester college understanding of the language!

I keep thinking it should read benvenuti, but cannot recall the grammar rule for this phrase.

It is correct, but you're using the male gender singular.

Best would be:

Benvenuti nel mio giardino.

(This way every one, not only males, are welcome)

But, if ithe sign is done, I wouldn't change it. It's completely normal usage.
