I'm going to diverge a bit here:

Avril Lavigne and Auntie Cliche went for a walk down by the bay. Avril said AUNT, I simply just can't take all of my fame in a day! Auntie Cliche said "have it your way" and pushed her right into the bay.

I still find it hilarious that she was so upset that Alanis Morisette, her idol, didn't recognize her when they first met, post-Avril fame. <whine> "Don't you remember when I saw you in concert and went backstage?"

Incidentally, it appears that she never intended to dump her drugstar boyfriend at all, following the Atrocious lyrics of 'My Happy Ending.'

So she hasn't grown at all. Apart from, of course, her amazing lyrical growth over the last two years Wink.
