If, for example, you're trying to learn French your teacher is speaking to you very slowly but you prefer that he just speak at his own pace, how would you phrase that?
Is it more proper to say pls speak at your own pace or pls speak at your own speed.
I've seen a lot of phrases that say "learn at your own pace " but never "s

That refers to something different, the individual's overall speed of learning.
