Ok, Ok, I'll switch to New England.

Damned hamstring tilted my sense of possibility.

@Ragman,
Not that I know how good or poor he is so far, just that it made me flip the switch.. he'd just gotten back after a hamstring issue.

Now watch the Bills win anyway.

@lmur,
They were tied with 36 seconds to go, and I assumed overtime soon so got up to get some mineral water, came back, there had been a fumble and touchdown buy 27 seconds to go. Point after, good. Confusion by Chiefs after that, game over.

@ossobuco,
I'd been watching it on the NFL .com site (no tv); I watch a "gamecast", which is generally unsatisfactory; I need to look around for a better site with more readable play by play (she whines). I'll explore more during Sunday's games.

Anyway, quite a game..
Also, Peyton went back to shotgun..

@ossobuco,
Still scratching my head. Chiefs were leading 24-17 with less than ninety seconds left.

@lmur,
Correction - the site I was reading (at this point I don't remember which one because I was looking around at different ones) said it was a fumble, but this link says Charles had the ball stripped..

@ossobuco,
I suppose having the ball stripped is counted as a fumble, but I think of them as a little different.

@ossobuco,
One is self-immolation, the other is arson.

@George,
This leaves the Bills with no one picking them.
No one? Seriously?

@George,
They're vewwy, vewwy afwaid (in my best Elmer Fudd voice).

Pats are currently only at a 55% rate of confidence to win with the NFL experts. Reasonable risk-taking people might take the Bills because 70% -75% is a typical confidence rate for most NFL faves.

@lmur,
To state the obvious, there's Big Trouble with KC Chief's offense - particularly with their receivers and stretching the action down the field and it seems to be paralyzing. However, how they lost that game was incredible. They had only 7 attempts beyond 5 yards. That's not an NFL offense. The insane turnover adding to that, destroyed them - especially at Arrowhead Stadium.

OTOH, Broncos, in order to win consistently, will have to keep Peyton in the shotgun. Coach Kubiak is stubborn nuts. Maybe there's a blend of the two...but that might take the wisdom of Solomon to work out.

@George,
Pan picked KC for Thursday night. It's back a page or two. He posted their logo.

Is it too late to pick the Chiefs in last nights game?
