@Squeakybro,
Precisely. Boldness not arrogance. They were bold in the true sense of the word. You are arrogant in the true sense of the word as well.

@onevoice,
ROFLOL The only problem with that is I'm the one quoting the Word. They use carnal language for complaining. With no spiritual support when they speak. Like now, the Spirit bears witness with me.

Rom 8:16
16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,
(NKJ)

That was a poor attempt to turn it around. I noticed you didn't have any spiritual support either.

Jude 1:16
16 These are grumblers, complainers, walking according to their own lusts; and they mouth great swelling words, flattering people to gain advantage.

You deceive yourself if you believe Satan cannot quote from the Greek text.

Common sense dictates that if one were to meet someone touched by the divine one would be impressed, made to pause for thought.

One would not expect the exact opposite, low literacy, low intelligence and an inability to perform basic functions.

The only person who thinks Squeaky is in contact with the divine is Squeaky.

@neologist,
Or you miss important guide lines from the Holy Spirit if you think satan does quote from the new testament. You reject or blaspheme the Holy Spirit when He is trying to guide you.

@izzythepush,
You poor intellectual idiot. Read these carefully.

1 Cor 1:19-21
19 For it is written: "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent."
20 Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
21 For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe.
(NKJ)

1 Cor 1:25-29
25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
26 For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called.
27 But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty;
28 and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are,
29 that no flesh should glory in His presence.
(NKJ)

1 Cor 3:19-20
19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, "He catches the wise in their own craftiness";
20 and again, "The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile."
(NKJ)

@izzythepush,
Hasn't anyone ever explained to you the smarter you are intellectually the dummer you are spiritually. That is why anyone who desires to be a Christian will have to purge their minds of carnality. Purge your intellectual wisdom to find spiritual wisdom.

1 Cor 1:19-21
19 For it is written: "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent."
20 Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?

James 3:17
17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.

@Squeakybro,
No, that's a load of nonsense you use in a feeble attempt to making a virtue out of being thick as mince.

There's no scripture about Jesus being thick as two short planks. The exact opposite in fact, you keep posting about how the teachers in the Temple marvelled at his knowledge without an education.

People here marvel at your ignorance with an education.

Logically that would make you the anti-Christ. I don't think that's true either, I don't think he'd be a thicky either.

@izzythepush,
ROFLOL All you have to do is read the scriptures I gave you. And believe them. Spiritual wisdom is different than intellectual wisdom. As long as you look at the scriptures intellectually you will NEVER come to the truth. You have the best example you will ever find. You and me. You have intellectual wisdom and I have spiritual wisdom.

I think this is what was meant by the long dark night of the soul.
