Yeah? Well do it, OK!
<Sigh> He is such a tease.
I agree with Msolga, though, G. We haven't seen enough of you around here lately. You know what they say...All work and no play...
... makes G a very little weary person, Eva!

Well, this Sunday (and the rest of the weekend), frinstance, where you are, there's CRICKET!!!!!!
Most important match in 20 years! This is when I'd planned to be there
Spend most of the night watching the bloody box, and listening to radio commentary - Test Match Special! Waaah!
Margo
You must post on Sunday & keep us informed of the progress of the game & your condition. It looks like you might have been through the wringer by Monday morning! Good luck!
Fantastic ain't it margo.I haven't missed a ball yet.
Don't you just love those commentators?Especially Richie.Fancy being a NATIONAL INSTITUTION in a foreign country.
Spendius
I tend to listen to the radio commentary - they're relaying Test Match Special, from England, rather than the TV commentary - I'm not a huge fan of Richie Benaud et al!
Bloody rain breaks and bad light - dozed off when it rained after lunch, and woke just as they were walking off again because of bad light (3.30am here) - Jeez - don't you people have daylight.
Oz is going just fine, so far.... How on earth am I going to work on Monday and Tuesday?
So - I'm wide awake at 3,30am, made a cuppa, read the paper, played on this machine, but now - there's tennis - semi-final of US Open, Riger Federer and Lleyton Hewitt (yobbo!). See yez!
margo-
I think it was Henry VIII who said that we have the worst weather and the best climate. It is a pity.
I often have stayed up very late when the best teams are playing in your country.I'm coming to think that your ascendency in world cricket has passed it's zenith. But you have had a great deal of bad luck in this series.
Today's St Leger winner is the fourth horse I've backed this year and they have all won.Can you beat that?
If they get to play two more full days I'm inclined to think Australia will win.But it's a funny old game.
There's nothing remotely like it.It seems to breed gentlemen. It's a gift to be a fan.The TV coverage is inspired. We all love all your players even though we would like to see them ground into the dust.
Shaney is a hero here. And Sir Don is still spoken of in reverential terms.
But the game is the thing.
(9:56 pm) Still stay awake, margo?
Oh, PHEW, it's Sunday! I'm on two weeks holiday. Oh, sweet, sweet relief!
Only just made it to the finishing line, the wheels almost coming off .....
But today? Beautiful, calm & sunny. (just like me!
)
Oh, phew!

But it's a ripper day in Sydney!
Tomorrow is Monday & this "bloody teacher" will not be working!!!! YAHOOO!

Ah! I have just spent a pleasant Sunday watching the entire highlights of the Ashes, with my wife who is a bloody teacher.
"That's why I'm easy...........easy like Sunday mor-or-or-or-or-ning......

You gotta stop this rampant work activity, djjd! We're getting worried about you.
