The "NSFW" indicator

Is there any discussion website or thread which a manager at work is going to say to themself, "Screwing around online on our computer time? Oh, a serious political discussion. Well that's ok. But no sex stuff!"

Was under the impression ANYTHING of a recreational type wouldn't be ok at work whether sexual or not? Smile

@HesDeltanCaptain,
In my former work place during breaks it was more then ok to used the companies internet to surf the net with the exception of porn, as other might see such on a screen and be annoyed.

But it so crazy here that using the word bullshit in a title of a thread get the NSFW tag even those such words have been used on FCC control network TV without being beep.

@BillRM,
If using a company's T3 or whatever hookup is ok recreationally on breaktime, porn should be ok as well (maybe with the condition of it not being viewable to casual passersby as you said.) Not allowing one thing, but all the other things is hypocritical.

And marking some content 'plain' but others 'NSFW' just reveals an immaturity in the one doing it. Like granting the premise that somehow porn is objectionable but youtube 'ISIL beheading' videos are fine.
