@roger,
Would you wear sneakers with white socks and trousers (and that rules out jeans) to the office?????

@glitterbag,
Not following too well for some reason, but if sneakers are okay, so are white socks.

Want to talk about sandals?

@roger,
I'm not so sure sneakers are good with trousers. Just because folks do it, doesn't smack of style. Forget sandals unless you are on vacation,wearing shorts. But, Im also a big critic of young men belting their jeans at the pubic line. Just saying.

@glitterbag,
I bet my thinking was that if sneakers were okay, so was everything else.

@roger,
Rog, the OP asked about shoes and boots with black trousers. Sneakers are an entirely different type of foot wear, neither bedroom slippers, sneakers or clogs work with trousers

@glitterbag,
I agree as the colour matches for black.

Why aren't red socks and white socks good to wear with black shoes and boots for work?

@The1990game,
Because they distract the eye, and can be jarring.

@glitterbag,
Well I have seen some businesswomen wear white socks with their black shoes and boots with trousers.

What do you think?

@The1990game,
Well-cut trousers go down to the back of the heel.

Boots are usually calf-height or above. The boots and trousers overlap each other. In a boot/trouser scenario, there is no opportunity to see socks.

How are you seeing their socks?

@ehBeth,
If a lady wearing boots with trousers puts her leg on her other leg well her socks can be seen amongst her boots and trousers.

What do you think?

@The1990game,
A lady does not put one leg on the other leg. It's not really acceptable for men or women to do this in professional business settings.

A lady crosses her legs at the ankle.

A lady wearing trousers and boots does not give you an opportunity to see her socks.

___

secondarily, properly cut trousers are NOT going to hike up above the top of the boot in your strange scenario

It doesn't seem that you understand how clothing actually fits and moves.

You have a fantasy about how you are going to see white socks in scenarios that do not make sense.

Asking the same question again doesn't change the response.

@ehBeth,
Well that is a common thing ladies do and have seen their socks in their boots a number of times. Also I have seen a some businesswomen and also a few of my teachers and teaching assistants wear black boots with white socks with trousers.

What do you think?

@The1990game,
I think you have a sock/shoe fetish and that you, mistakenly, think this is a fetish site.

Goodbye.
