This word - plausibility, neutral or a bit negative?

According to the definition given by the dictionary below, it refers to "apparent validity", which sounds positive.
But in reality, it seems a bit negative.

Plausible - (Of an argument or statement) seeming reasonable or probable:
a plausible explanation
it seems plausible that one of two things may happen
