Tunde Owolabi
Lagos, Nigeria.

Dear Sir,

I am Tunde Owolabi, Manager of Bills/Exchange at the Foreign Operations
Department of Ecobank Nigeria Plc. In my department, we discovered an
abandoned sum of Sixteen Million, Two Hundred Thousand United States Dollar
(US$16,200,000.00) in a domiciliary account that belonged to one of our
foreign customers, Mr. Ziya Bazhayev who died in the plane crash of Yak-40
jetliner on March 9, 2000. Since we got information about his death, we have
been expecting his next-of-kin to come over and claim his money because we
cannot release it unless somebody applied for it as next-of-kin, or relation
to the deceased as indicated in our banking guidelines. Unfortunately, nobody
has come forward to claim this money.

It is based on this that I and some officials in my department have decided to
establish a cordial business relationship with you, hence my contacting you.
We seek your consent to present you as the next-of-kin or relation of the
deceased and the sole beneficiary of his estate, so that the proceeds of this
account valued at US$16,200,000.00 can be remitted to your account.

Moreover, we do not want the money confiscated or declared unserviceable by
the bank. The banking law and guidelines here stipulate that any account
abandoned or is dormant for a period of years is deemed closed and all money
contained therein forfeited to the bank.

Now it is being speculated that the above sum will be forfeited to the bank as
an abandoned estate on or before December 2004. The reason for requesting you
to present yourself as next-of-kin is occasioned by the fact that the deceased
(customer) was a foreigner.

The bank needs only the facts as presented legally. The rest is between you
and us and with my guide; we can have the money paid into your account. Once
this is done we shall share the funds, 60% to us and 30% to you, while 10%
shall be for Taxes as your Government may require. All I require is your
honest cooperation in enabling us see this deal through and I guarantee that
this will be executed under a legitimate arrangement that will protect you
from any Breach of law. Therefore you are expected to reply this letter
indicating your readiness and interest to participate in this business.

After receiving your reply, you will be communicated to with the exact steps
to take.

Kindly respond through the email address EDIT (Moderator): Link Removed to enable
us conclude this transaction quickly.

Please treat this business proposal as strictly confidential for security
reasons.

Personal regards,

Tunde Owolabi.

I thought that I was the only one......
Cool

Dear,

I am Mr. Kon Robert Guei, the eldest son of late
general Robert Guei, the former president of the
Federal Republic of Cote D' Ivoire, who died on the
19th of september 2002 in a Bouch Coup. On the 18th of
september my late father informed me about the bouch
coup that he was planing with his best friend, Mr
Emile
Boga Doudou the interior minister of the federal
republic of Cote D' Ivoire, with his mutinous 900
recruited soldiers.

Meanwhile, As my earthly father I adviced him not to
plan or participate in any coup planing against the
current President of our country, President Laurent
Gbagbo, who travelled to Rome in Italy to meet with
Pope John Paul 11 and the speaker of the italian
parliament.

However, on the 19th of september 2002, my late father
General Robert Guei went to the presidential villa for
the bouch coup war, with his colleagues and they all
died in the coup on the night of thursday 19th of
september.

Furthermore, my aim of contacting you is to solicit
for your kind and faithful assistance, recently while
going through my late fathers documents (files). I,
discovered that there is some money that he deposited
with a PRIVATE SECURITY COMPANY IN LOME,TOGO in a
coded cash, the sum of (US$25) million American
Dollars.

My family have mandated me to contact with a trusted
and reliable foreign partner,so that we can pay in
this money into his Bank Account for on-ward
transfer. I will be very happy if you can assist me, I
have worked out the sharing ratio for this transaction
as follows: 70% for my investment under your close
supervision and direction While 25% for your effort,
And we will set aside 5% for all inccidental expenses.

( Thanks for Co-operating urgently ).

Yours-Faithfully

Mr. Kon Robert Guei.-For the family.

I am receiving post for this person. I have lived in my property since it was built, so I know this person has never lived here. Any ideas how this can be stopped? I am also receiving post for several other African sounding names. I am wary that my address could be blacklisted if this continues.

Any help would be great!
