I generally prefer a Shiraz with a good sharp cheddar, but 14 Hands has a good mixed red.

A troll is someone who thinks for themself and expresses and defends her opinions even when she has personally attacked by the in crowd. Trolls want to engage in intelligent discussion with people with diverse opinions.

Trolls question the mainstream, popular opinions and get a bit cranky with the people who try to stifle discussion or differences of opinions.

There are many times when being called a troll...

...is damn near proof positive that you have hit home hard with a point you were trying to make.

There are several people here in A2K who regularly label people "trolls." They seem to me to be people who just do not like to have their view challenged. I suspect they actually think anyone doing so...has to be a troll.

What about calling someone a troll that shows an independent bent, and will not likely defer to the current in-crowd hierarchy? Sort of preventive maintenance for one's possible alpha position in the pecking order?
