-If there is (not was/were here) anything to be improved about answering such a question in the future, I would advise you....

It sounds OK to me, but the existence of WOULD makes me think whether it's wrong and was or were should be used. Do you think my sentence is wrong?

@WBYeats,
It's ok enough, but it would be better to use "will" if you're going to use "is."

If you're going to use "was" or "were" then use "would have."

Thank you; but for 'it's OK enough', what does IT refer to? My suggestion or the original sentence?
