- I would not accept further extension requests, with the exceptions (I think the plural is wrong and the singular should be used) of delays due to (I think for is better) medical reasons.

Do you agree with me?

I'd use the singular also.

"For" would make it more concise by one word.

Looks fine. "requests" is plural, "exceptions" is plural, and "delays" is plural. "due to" is somewhat more formal than "for," so if it's formal context, it's good to go.

I can see making "exception" singular, as it's talking about just one type of delay.

I agree with you entirely--exception rather than exceptions (which i consider completely wrong) and for rather than due to. I consider exceptions completley wrong because there is only one exception, that for medical reasons.
