or did you pass them by for some reason and end up marrying someone else later who you loved less?
I was in a relationship for 15 years. During almost all that time I thought that this was the person I loved the most. 1.5 years after this relationship ended I met my husband. And I found that this is the person I love most. I was 34 when we met and had met a couple of guys before him whom I liked - some I probably even loved. But I have never met anyone I loved as much as I love him.
So the answer to your question is: No, I married the person I love most!
Like urs53, before I met the Lovely Bride, I had been in a number relationships, one of which almost became marriage. Luckily (VERY luckily), it did not.
I did marry the one I loved (and still love) most.
I neither married, nor let anyone decent away...
How about you, Stuh?
I'm only 20, too young to marry...well I don't want to marry before I finish graduate school and have a real career which I can support a family with. I think if I had met the girl I know now later, the future may have been different.
I married the one I loved. We knew we were going to be married after 3 days.
That was several years ago. ;-)
