Bush Stomps out on Reporters

Bush in his usual childish manner stomped off mad when reporters began to ask him about Ken Lay. Word on the street is that he was visibly shaking with anger when he got backstage.

Now tell me again how he will eat Kerry alive in debates.

Quote:
A clearly-rattled President George W. Bush walked out of a media briefing Thursday, refusing to answer questions about his close relationship with indicted Enron executive Kenneth Lay, a campaign benefactor Bush nicknamed "Kenny Boy" when the two were up-and-comers in Texas.

The President, visibly upset, stomped off the stage when reporters pressed him about his relationship with Lay and left White House press secretary Scott McClellan to deal with the questions.

It has been "quite some time" since Bush and Lay talked with each other, McClellan said Thursday, brushing off questions about whether the two were friends.

"He was a supporter in the past and he's someone that I would also point out has certainly supported Democrats and Republicans in the past," McClellan said.

Lay clearly favored the GOP. He and his wife, Linda, donated $882,580 to federal candidates from 1989-2001, according to the Center for Responsive Politics. All but $86,470 went to Republicans.

lol, the guy is starting to crack. Its a shame "Kenny Boy" got into trouble and is giving him grief now.

Whats that phrase?
"Tell me who you walk with, and I'll tell you who you are..."

Every second term of a President since Nixon has been awash with scandal. If he's able to get re-elected, expect the same. Today the Pentagon also announced they had "inadvertantly destroyed" his military records. And before that, Johnson with the Vietnam War, opening the door for Nixon.

Of course whitewater is relevant. Except in that scandle the clintons were wast deep, quick shredding is all that saved them.
All this is, is the lefties taking nothing and trying to make something of it.

Could you please explain the "taking nothing" part ?

And when you do , stick to what it's being discussed, please.

LOL, some topics are broader than a sound bite. If you want to only look at things with tunnel vison then don't bother me.

You know I've checked Amazon for a book on "righty speak" translation. sorry to say it's not been published yet so as soon as I can find it I maybe able to answer you as it stands I have NO idea what you just posted.

You have proof of the shredding in Whitewater, of course. There's no proof of any shredding at the Pentagon either (or lower down) -- it's non-serious speculation just for fun. Changing the subject will not squelch the bad odor of these "lost" records that's coming out of Washington.

Some people like to wade deep in it and their proof is to pull out a leg to show how deep they really are.

LOL, and some people like to throw stones.

Bush didn't run Enron, there is nothing here but smoke and bitterness over whitewater, except in whitewater hillary was waste deep in the paper shedder at Rose law firm.

When you have some real facts, post them, to say bush acted like a baby obviously shows what is the motivation, and truth here.

It's just liberals acting like babies!

Nope, all the records at Rose Law firm relevant to Whitewater billings were located and presented. Let's see Bush locate his military records but, then, maybe they are just misplaced. Like his presidency.

Bush looks like the old, defeated man he is in that photo. The man is clearly losing whatever marbles he had to begin with.

Kerry will kick Bush's butt in the debates. Georgie couldn't hold his own yesterday because he didn't have Cheney or one of his handlers telling him what to say next.

The debates...I say...Bring 'em On!!!

Very rarely, Karzak, do you see the president chased away from a podium by reporters.

No matter how you try to shift the subject to the Clinton era, that fact remains.... Bush has a hard time answering un-prepared questions.

Does anyone else think that Bush's confrontational interview in Ireland may have acted as a wake-up call for some American journalists? Let's hope so!
