Damn bloody hipster crap! Laughing Looks like the director was channeling William Friedkin, hybridized with the mixed DNA of John Waters, polluted with a sugar coated Donnie Darko sensibility.

Just watched the trailer. At least the acting seems ... fair. But it does look like they're tripping too hard on the intentional camp.

@tsarstepan,
Oh tsar, you need to watch the actual birth scene at the end.

I had to fast forward through a lot of it.

Natasha played the part like Nikki from OITNB except if Nikki was a moron.

You better slow your roll there mister! Three Amigos is one of America's finest comedy movies. Martin, Short and Chase made an excellent ensemble and they created an instant classic.

Quote:

Lucky Day: Reading telegram: "Three Amigos, Hollywood, California. You are very great. 100,000 pesos. Come to Santa Poco put on show, stop. The In-famous El Guapo."

Dusty Bottoms: What does that mean, in-famous?

Ned Nederlander: Oh, Dusty. In-famous is when you're MORE than famous. This man El Guapo, he's not just famous, he's IN-famous.

Lucky Day: 100,000 pesos to perform with this El Guapo, who's probably the biggest actor to come out of Mexico!

Dusty Bottoms: Wow, in-famous? In-famous?

I tuned in the late stages of some Schwartzenagger (sp?) movie last night. He's running along mowing down people by the dozens. I suspect he only killed a possible hundred or two because they didn't feel like filming it. He gets his shirt ripped off in the process. After killing the guy in the suit he ends up one on one with a guy that seems possibly a tad tougher. But he manages to kill him too. He shows up at the end, carrying the kid he rescued, despite the fact the kid is almost as tall as him. Don't know the name of it. Never been a fan.

@edgarblythe,
Sounds like "Commando" and it is widely panned as the worse Schwarzenegger Film.

Definitely not in the category of worst movie, but I've never understood how Vertigo manages to end up in so many film critics top ten. I thought it dragged and was way too long.

I must admit, I haven't seen this movie, nor was I willing to watch even the trailer. But that's why I think it deserves mention here. MacGruber was an absolutely idiotic SNL spoof of MacGyver, a one liner where the guy who tries to creatively solve a major problem screws up and makes things worse. Ok, we get it, but why make an idiotic one-liner into a feature length movie?
