Earlier this week here in New Jersey, a former police sergeant shot and killed his ex-wife...while his young daughter watched it happen.
It happened in broad daylight...on a busy public street. The guy rammed his ex-wife's car with his own and forced it to stop...then shot through the drivers window and killed her. His young daughter was in the car he was driving.
There was another cop actually on the scene...in an unrelated matter. And within minutes...other cops arrived.
While they were there, the former policeman pointed his gun at his own head...and then walked over to the wife's car and fired several more shots into her.
None of the other cops on the scene fired their guns.
The killer was a white guy.
Little need to wonder if the scenario would have been different if the guy had been black...right?
