In the '80s and '90s, high top fades, crewcuts and cameos were popular amonst African-American males. Peppercorns and cornrows seem to be popular now, but what hairstyles are currently popular now (2000s-2010s) amongst African American males? I am curious and I am working on a project - please help. Thank you.
Remember Kris Kros?:
What was that hairstyle they had called? Is that still popular?
Cool hairstyles tend to be popular.
@JGoldman10,
This is my next door neighbour. He seems pretty with it.
I am DOING RESEARCH FOR MY BOOKS. I DON'T KEEP UP THE LATEST HAIRSTYLES. It was never taht important to me. I am BLACK- I have been wearing my hair in an Afro for years.
This is what I was told elsewhere by 4 other people:
1. Dreads
2. afro's
3. Right now I see a lot of guys with low cut fades, that might have a design. And I also see them rocking the Mohawk.
4. I see alot of shaved heads , if you consider that a style . Doesn't look so bad on black guys but on whites it's just butt ugly .
Is there anyone BLACK here who can help me with this?
@TheSubliminalKid,
This is very popular today.
@izzythepush,
