Been or Gone?

Hi,in British English, I saw that most sentences that have the subject "I" in statements , and "you" in questions take "been" not "gone".Like:
1. I've been to India.
2.I haven't been to India./ I've never been India.
3.Have you been to India?/ Where have you been?
So, is my conclusion correct for most sentences?
*Plus, don't you think that indicators like" ever,never,twice,three times,...,several times" come only with "been" as well?
Thanks

@Alex80,
"I have been to somewhere" means that I have gone there and come back. "I have gone somewhere" means I have gone there and I am still there.

1. I've gone to India. (e.g. said on the phone or written in a letter from India, shortly after arrival there, to someone who not in India, who does not know where you have gone.)

2.I haven't gone to India. (as above if you haven't gone there.)
I've never gone to India. (It is unlikely that anyone would say this alone, although they might say e.g. "I've never gone to India in a ship" or "I've never gone to India with my brother")

3.Have you gone to India? (as above, if you call someone on their mobile phone to find out where they are, and you suspect they might have gone to India)

Where have you gone? (as above, when you call someone who has left the place where they were, and you wish to know where they are now)

Have you ever gone to India in a ship?
I have never gone to India in the monsoon season.
I have gone to India twice to buy clothing to sell.
I have gone several times to India for my holidays.

@Tes yeux noirs,
Tes I'm very impressed by your postings

Quote:
I have gone to India twice to buy clothing to sell.
Perfectly okay grammatically of course but a writer won't like the "...to...to....to..." One might instead, e.g.,

I have gone to India twice, buying clothing for later resale
