no matter what you do to attempt to teach your children 'manners', they will, in the end, behave the way they have seen their most 'prominent' care giver(s) behave.
If this is you, and it would appear so, and your behaviour is 'exemplary', you have nothing to worry about. They will not take their guide from occasional chance comments on the street.

I'm a dad...no one really bothers me. But i do apologize for my kids behavior and if they try that nonsense of no its okay...

I politely explain that its not because i am trying to work on my kids watching where they go.
