Not sure I ever thought it was a "good idea"...but it was something I wanted to do.

So I did it.

Gotta acknowledge there are many things I have not especially considered "good ideas"...that I have done...just because I wanted to.

Do you have a point here...or are you just acknowledging that you are out of ammunition?

Well its beyond words really...I don't know what to say except that the judgemental comment Fresco did on your personal choices goes well along with his reasoning skills. It gives him away pretty quickly. It amazes me that you decided to reply.

Why would I need ammunition to counter vacuous bleating ? Sheep do tend to follow other sheep in matters of behavior (or fashion).

I was going to get a tattoo "USDA PRIME"
Then, after seeing a candid photo of how my physique has aged, I concluded "BEACHED WHALE" would be more of an embarassment, so I sneaked off without saying why I was there.

Obviously Fresco has allowed himself to get out of control, Fil. His reaction is no longer rising above the level of gutter talk.

He really does not take kindly to people who have a different take from him on matters under discussion here. He seems to want us all to defer to his take...and to his long list of authorities to whom he constantly appeals.

Not much philosophy goes on these threads when the social dancing starts. Frank is here as usual to get me to rise to his bleating. and you are here as usual to push your computational TOE. Of the three of us, I am the only one who has attempted to address the OP despite two little dogs snapping at my heels.

I was at an audience with a pope...and I did once aspire to a religious vocation. But "pontiff material" I am not. Wink

Feel free, Fresco. It certainly is not something I am ashamed of.

I suspect many Catholic young men find themselves drawn in that direction.

It came upon me at about age 18...and lasted until age 21.

It was much better for me and the Church that I managed to get over it before making the move to the priesthood.

We both dodged a bullet. Wink

...if anything I am one of the few around that writes something fresh and that bothers to actually explain it in a way that people can grasp. You on the other hand sound like a broken record and when asked for logical clarification never provide any.
