@edgarblythe,
What does a "top Clinton ally" mean?

Does he have a name?

Can you do a little more than copy/paste...maybe provide a link?

Maybe the text of the tweet?

@edgarblythe,
Well, that ameliorates the whore comment. I was dreading that damn bellowing indignation tonight.

Ain't no Democrat going to take Texas any time soon. Cruz and such like are well loved here.

@Lash,
You seem to live in upside down world, Lash. HRC got almost twice as many votes as Bernie

there definitely is a stigma in not accumulating a really good amount of money if you've been earning much higher than average your working life, like Bernie.

Progressives respect that he hasn't done what it takes in politics to be a millionaire / billionaire. Neolibs like you look down on honest people who support charities and help people with their money.

@parados,
from the same link -> Clinton + Sanders got about as many votes as Cruz. They'll be pasted in Texas again.

@Lash,
The Clintons have donated and helped FAR MORE people than Sanders has.

Sanders has made millions as part of government. At least 4.5 million. Hel'll make millions more after this campaign too.

this has come up as a particular battle I saw today in my FB feed - related to the fellow who made the corporate whore comment.

Some friends in Washington and New York are really upset as the guy is the brother-in-law of a woman Bill Clinton travelled to North Korea to get. A couple of the people were peripherally involved in that situation (former co-workers of Ms. Ling and one former DOD) and are incensed. Totally anecdotal but a few NY voters shifted to Mrs. Clinton as a result of that comment. It was fascinating to watch the discussion over the afternoon. It didn't end up the way I originally expected.

Very good reply, seems to be intellectual thinking or "anti-izythepush" thinking.

No big deal. Lash has decided that any Democrat who doesn't support Bernie is a "neoliberal" and is totally responsible for blacks not being in positions of leadership.

Expect to hear more of this sort of thing from Republicans sources, since that's where Lash still gets her talking points.

Probably, but it's only a matter of time. Basically, the Republican party is the Confederacy, that's where most of their strength lies. And in the last few elections, the Democrats have captured Florida twice, Virginia twice and North Carolina once.

It's like Sherman's march through the South, only in slow motion and nobody gets shot.

Bernie Sanders's candidacy is not really about Bernie. It's about a movement to reclaim our economy and democracy from the moneyed interests that have a choke hold on it. Bernie is the voice of that movement -- which gives his candidacy purpose and urgency. Hillary Clinton's fundamental handicap is that her candidacy is about her. She is not leading a movement. Which leaves her candidacy with only one real purpose -- to elect her. And in many people's minds, at least at this point, that purpose doesn't feel particularly urgent.
