Not really. Our media presents a matriarchal image but that is just something to throw people off balance.Media is a self selecting group and doesn't really represent a true picture which is still patriarchal.

Is France matriarchal?

Hi spendius! France isn't - I was joking!
San Diego is becoming matriarchal.

Where would you prefer to live in: patriarchal or
matriarchal society?

"Having your cake and eating it too" comes to mind.
In general, it is better to have the best of both to give
a healthy balance.

Balance is important, right?

Sorry Cal-

I've been commuting. There's six new little ducks on the pond.

Yeah balance is just right. But you can't mix up patri and matri at the same time.

How did the trip go?

I've seen lots of little ducklings as well in Munich - quite
captivating these little furry cuties.

The trip was like a royal visit. Old friends came to see me, and I've made new friends who turned out to be very
interesting and lovely.

Do you live far from your hometown?

I can see from here where I was born and brought up.

Don't you find strange places disorienting?

Haha, sometimes. I get disoriented very easily and
whoever travels with me, must have patience and time,
yet I love the challenge too....

Well, a homeboy then. No urge to change?

Don't know.I always try to put up a question that anybody might answer.Maybe we overawe them with our brilliant repartee. It's a bit the same on the continuing sentence thread with aidan and myself.
It's quite good really and it has nice potential.

Have you seen that?

Seen what?

Is that a question that anybody might answer and/or is there some deep metaphoric significance?

The scientific proof that anybody might answer is seen Francis by you having answered it.

As you asked two (or maybe three)questions I'll answer them.

The continue my sentence thread which has become a little tale.

I've already answered the second question.

I had no metaphorical significance in mind.

Have you seen the Comte de Valmont story?

Le comte de Valmont ou les égarements de la raison?

I know a bit about it but not significantly.

On the other hand I'm fine having a glass of "Comte de Valmont" wine.

Do you like wine?
