) I have traveled outside but only a bit...Albania, Macedonia, and Switzerland. May get to go see my best friend in London next year. I hope anyway. But it varies...we can usually count on warm weather from May to October no real spring or fall. 
Went ok, no big drama's, except inconvenience for the people of Sydney, inner City completely inaccessable for security reasons. with three kids it is the advantage to eating out!
