Do you think the sexual part of a relationship is usually more important to the woman, the man, or about equal in their eyes?

It depends what the relationship is based on. Ideally it
should have equal importance to both partners.

That depends on a definition of "important".

Could you supply one of those in view of how important it is to do so?

It is essential like eating or sleeping spendius.
No, travel should widen your horizon, unless you're oblivious
to your surroundings.

Are you?

Important: (m-pĂ´rtnt) adj.

1. Strongly affecting the course of events or the nature of things; significant: an important message that must get through; close friends who are important to me.

2. Having or suggesting a consciousness of high position or authority; authoritative: recited the decree with an important air.

Lets try definition #2, just for more challenge & fun.

Can you describe a situation in which sex would fit definition #2 above of importance in a relationship?

If they have nothing else in common, sex takes presence.

Agree?

Cal:-

First things first EM?A man like you should understand that.

I wouldn't say I was oblivious.I'm not as good as that yet.But I'm further down that road than most.
If you want to startle me you have to make a pretty loud noise.

Are you sure you're feeling better or are you just saying that to cheer me up?

Nobody, really. Everyone has at least one thing in common, even if they don't want to admit it. They're human, on earth, human condition, existing, all that. Thats quite a bit in common right there.

Well we could throw that to the all things debatable thread. We have everything in common and nothing in common. Even the closest relationship you'll ever have, EVER,EVER!--> There will be a part of you that is still alone...

I don't like that fact, but after many various trips & relationships, I will say it--its not that bad though--we need our alone space too

Have you ever felt that part of you, no one will ever truly know?

EM.

No I can't.Sex is not important.I have often felt that it was so unimportant I didn't understand why I did it.I must have just got carried away during the course of the conversation.
