I've passed it. I'm going down to Cornwall again next Friday (and probably every weekend until I leave) so I'll stop by.

What's you favorite spot in England?

There is a place called Anglezarke, many years ago, I located a beautiful spot in that region, a rock face with quite a drop down to a stony stream below. I took my daughters and wife there for years, once a year in April, we called it 'Sleepy Hollow'

Many a time now, they talk about it. I ask them if they have ever been since they were kids. 'No' they both want to remember it as it was to them as kids. We have one photograph of it only.

Plus, as they both admit, they do not think they could find it!

Isn't that nice?

No - but I did have a jigsaw puzzle of St Basil's Cathedral when I was a kid so I consider myself an expert on Moscow.

What attracts you about Moscow?

The Kremlin, would love to visit that treasure of history.

Have you ever been outside the UK, and if so, where?

I have but I don't like thinking about it because it was so horrible and agonising and it only happened under orders anyway.

Do you like nodding off on the sofa during programmes about The Enlightenment or The Renaissance or The French Revolution?

Absolutely and i enjoy it immensely.

Are you affected by floodwaters, images of which are being shown on our TV screens, almost hourly?

Not too badly in my location, the M6 has a traffic warning due to vehicles aqua plaining and one or two sections of roads are flooded which is probably down to blocked drains, these appear to be receiving attention at present. I carried out some land drainage work on my lawns last year and this has improved the situation regarding lawns becoming water logged immensely. In fact, it's virtually non-existent. There is a brook some five hundred yards from my home, on a lower level, it is running high, and obviously I am keeping an eye on that aspect.

Yorkshire appears to have been receiving some atrocious levels of rain-water and terrible flooding. It must be horrendous to have to face those damages. Four lives lost to date also, very sad!

Do you think Spendi might have got 'water on the brain?'

All jokes aside, do you think spendi's pub could be flooded, and he's holed up in the attic there?
