Well, it was full and encompassed more than just your answer to the question, but generally acceptable, thanks. I'm furious you have sun up there, when we zoomed past Manchester last week it was stairrods, and now Devon is kneedeep in rain.

How do you explain consciousness?

One might say an awareness of sensations, emotions, dreams, propositions, the self and its moods like when Clary comes over with that schoolmistressy mood when one of us makes a minor infraction, however slight, of the rules as she sees them. One assumes Clary is conscious of being in such a mood. One would hope so anyway.

But the consensus these days, after the weavers of the wind have twisted their fingers a great deal, is that nobody knows anything definite about consciousness.

Unless they have a stone in their shoe that is, or a problem with their knickers.

Do you like asking daft questions?

Don't be furious Clary, your knickerbockers will become twisted and it makes life awkward when that happens. The sun-shine didn't last that long in any event, we have just experienced a thirty minute downpour of monsoon type raindrops, I rather suspect there will be some local flooding if the same carries on after that initial burst too.

Consciousness;- You will be aware of several papers being written on the subject, it's always down to the individual to give his/her view and I think I condensed mine some years since.

Consciousness = Awareness = Survival = Evolution = Desire = Copulation = Progeny.

You can break any of the above down as miniscule as you wish, we will have similar or totally different views, the aspects are merely discussion topics, nothing more, the headings being the important factors.

Take a look at the unconsciousness of consciousness though, that can be very interesting.

I rather think the brain is conscious more than we realise, to illustrate:-
How often have you been stuck on a crossword, had a break from the same, done another task and suddenly the answer to a clue throws itself at you?

You weren't consciously aware of the brain working on the clue, but it was!

How often have you found yourself humming or singing a song, you turn the radio on and it's playing?

These are not coincidences,, are they?

Then we have this conscious and unconscious desire to have some form of
afterlife, an eternal life, we are very much afraid to die, aren't we?

Obviously we can look at other dimensions too but it gets extremely deep and as aforementioned becomes a discussion only.

Are you basically satisfied with my explanation?

Only talking about neurological and or phenomenal consciousness can be both boring and dense, we don't need that do we?

I see Spendi jumped in too,

He thinks your daft Clary, is that a conscious or unconscious part of his Thick degenerated mentality, or part of his oink like birth stamp?

I was curious that's all.

You ok Spendi, not seen much of you of late, It crossed my mind there could be free beer on offer in Yorkshire or you'd bought your own pub..That would make sense, wouldn't it?

Spendius is his own man- I'm sure he's taking care of his own business- whatever that might be.

But I'm more interested in this:
Quote:
Aidan being absolutely priceless. Aidan especially because she appears to have the perfect tits, but has not sent me a picture of them to date. I'm working on it though.

Now, given that we've never met, how would you know how any part of me (besides my face and hair which you saw in my avatar) appear?

*Although I will tell you that they've served me well in both form and function- I can't complain at all. Someone also told me once that I had a beautifully shaped perfect rib cage and beautiful ankles and feet too. Laughing

Should a brother and sister be discussing this kind of thing? If so:

What's your most wonderful physical feature?

There's this guy at work who looks just like Jim Carrey and everytime I see him, I immediately start smiling and giggling. I mean he could be walking fifty feet away from me, and scowling at the ground- but when I see him, I just start grinning.

I told him that and now whenever we pass and our eyes meet- we both start laughing.

What do you like about your hair?

I don't know...It's big and curly...I think I like it because it's different...?

What's your most wonderful physical feature and why?

I don't know if it's wonderful, but I guess I like my coloring- and I guess I like it because it's kind of unusual- dark hair, brows and lashes, with light eyes and fair skin- most people- like my brother who had hair as dark as mine- have olive complexions and very dark eyes.

What physical feature is your least favorite?

I expect big tits would come into it. Form and function, as Aidan says. I rather like my hands though. They are well shaped and elegant.

What feature do you most appreciate in a lover?

Ooh, Clary you pipped me, but I like your question better than mine...are you talking physical feature?

If so- big, strong hands.

Physically- if he's dirty or smelly- I don't even want to see what under his clothes- much less touch it.

Mentally- Cruel stupidity- juvenile behavior

Sorry- forgot- it's just so much more interesting talking about this with another woman.

How 'bout you- what turns you off?

Well, actually male genitalia...(sorry if that's disappointing, but it shouldn't really effect this conversation much since I've been with men before and so, we can still dish)

And anyway, my other turnoff is universal...bad breath is an instant deal breaker for me.

Yeah- that makes it kind of hard to enjoy the kissing aspect of the whole thing- which if it isn't enjoyable is just too much too sacrifice in my opinion-another deal breaker.

But genitalia in general aint pretty- I hate to say it- and I don't know if it's just because I'm straight- but I don't find the male equipment any uglier than the females.

What do you think? Do you think that's a function of sexual preference? In other words, do you think there's any room for objectivity there- or does desire taint our view?

Well, I suppose that I thought it WAS pretty objective. That is, it never occurred to me that the, um, girly bits were unattractive.
All I know is that I am fairly repulsed by the whole male package. (no offense to the boys)

So I suppose it is determined by desire and orientation. Or maybe it's the other way around, and just that distinction between repulsion and attraction is what makes me choose women over men every time.

Whoops, almost forgot my question...
Can you remember what attracted you initially to your first lover?

My first lover- well he scratched his stomach and I happened to glance over just as he did that and he had amazing abs- and also great curly hair and drummers arms and hands (strong) and that was it- I knew I had to have some part of him to remember always.

But what you were saying-interesting. I'm not repulsed by either one. I guess I think that ownership (the fact that the girly bits are MINE) might inject a certain level of acceptance equal to that which desire (of the male bits) would inspire. But I can see how without that element of desire- the male equipment would lose ALOT of its allure. Laughing

Did you have to sleep with a guy to find out you were repulsed- or did you feel that you knew you most probably would be beforehand?

*If any of this is too personal- feel free to tell me...

If it was too personal, I wouldn't have said anything in the first place.

And the answer is yes...Actually I had to sleep with many men (or, I suppose, boys) before I figured out why it just wasn't working.

You must not have seen my question because I forgot it and added it later, so...
Can you remember what attracted you initially to your first lover?
