One!

Dutchy, have you met Dawn Simpson in the Trivia Section?
Is she your sister?

Yes, I have, infact I'm playing with her right now, but for your information we live on the opposite sites of the world and are not related.

What made you ask me that question C/J?

Scottland as far as I know. She has only just come on the scene, will probably branch out later to other threads.

How have you been keeping, Gus still chasing you, or have you given him the slip? Laughing

Gustav is harmless fun.
I've been busy, but one of these days we'll start the "where am I game"
again.

How's life treating you?

Has anyone here ever felt the pain of being called "harmless fun"?

Shall I fall on my sword?

Extremely well, son flew in this morning so will be spending a bit of quality time with him today. Don't seem to be able to break away from the "trivia" games but I suppose someone has to keep them going. Smile

What's keeping you so busy than?

You're not supposed to read here, gustav.
I retract Dutchy: gustav is extremely debonair and dangerous.

Better?

Wish you a fabulous trip. Have been to Germany many times myself, lots of relatives there, mother was German. Son just came back from a trip to the Cape Verdi Islands and dropped in to say hello.

How long will you be away for?

Many thousands. Migration from Germany started soon after Australia was habitated in 1788 There is a wine valley close to where I live, established by early German settlers in 1838 where a German dialect is still spoken today.

My mother was born near Osnabrück. Which city did you come from?

My hometown is Munich!

Interesting. The German wine should be good then.

Do you speak any German?

Australian wines are amonst the best in the world! Just Google for Barossa Valley or Hunter Valley just to name two of the better known wine producing areas. Und jah, ich spreche Deutsch.

Do you know much about Australia?

I have tasted Australian wines, they're good, our Californians are
better though. To be honest, I don't know much about Australia, other
than what's taught at school.

You're on the east coast of Australia, right?
