How about you?
You mean for president?! I'm a pretty good (incredible?) mom, but not president!!
Actually, I meant how about you for the question you asked in the post prior to mine...

Oh, duh!. I have two kids - a girl, 11; and a boy 6.
You - any kids?
I've got a couple of kids.
Do you have pets?
Yes. One dog, a black lab. He's 10 years old. We sort of rescued him from a situation where he was being treated badly. I just can't abide cruelty to any animal or person.

Maybe bones_breaker will tell us?
I hope they are edible.
Anyone else hungry?
had lunch but can't help thinking about the chocolate truffles I bought in Germany as a gift for someone - and which are burning a hole in my suitcase!
Do you believe in any god?
I belive in a sort of God that determines our fate by not so much a God in any religion.
What is your biggest time waster of the day?
I belive in a sort of God that determines our fate by not so much a God in any religion.
What is your biggest time waster of the day?
I HATE cleaning, but am a huge organizer and like things to be neat & picked up. I'm always irked about having to pick up my family's stuff!
What about you? And what is your favorite past time?
A2K is probably my biggest timewaster!! It could also be said to be my favourite pastime!
How do you clean marble? (I really need to know)
Take verdigris and pumice-stone, well powdered, with lime newly slaked. Mix with soap lees, to the consistence of putty. Put it in a woollen rag, and rub the stains well one way. Wash off with soap and water. Repeat, if not removed. Or, cover the stains with fuller's earth or plaster of Paris, and when dry brush it off.
Do you want to know anything else?
Where do you get verdigris, slaked lime, soap lees, etc?
Do you make a habit of reading recipe books from the 19th century?
Some good shops here have such..
Should I read only the 19 th century books?
Don't you want to know what we used to make only 5 years ago and more, Francis?
What is your favorite piece of literature?
Currently, the works of Douglas Adams.
Can you see any plants from where you're sitting, and if so what?
I can see a spider plant on the library window sill and a tree outside the window, by the common room
What can you see out of your window?
