Used to be. Bibles are the sinners tool anymore (or so it seems) YES IT IS GREEN HERE. A large Kudzu vine invaded our transformer down the lane, shutting off electric power until it could be man handled!

Doesn't it depend upon what one wishes to be inspired to do?

No, I don't get stiff.
Hm, inspiration can come to us in many ways other
than wishes alone.

What's your inspiration?

Jesus Christ is my strongest inspiration-

be a brother, without malice- mockery and with meekness.

It is not popular today, since it all comes under the heading "religion"- but it shouldn't.

Do you know how to relieve the stiffness from walking?

No, southern California lives by its own beat. In fact,
all 49 states agreed upon this: if they had to give up one
state, they collectively voted for California. We're just
different out here.

How do you relieve stiffness ollady?

Green alchohol rub and a 10 minute stretch on the bed (resting) Then get up and have some 'hair of the dog'.

It seems to me if I am not sleeping, I am eating- do you do that?

Not very well when the aroma's are heavy. To assist with that I often have raw or plain food.

Do you have a great sense of smell?

I would guess about average.I can't say smell makes much difference to how much I eat.I have no aesthetic inclinations regarding eating. It just has to be done from time to time.

Is there more than that to it?

My sense of smell is too prevalent at times. I can smell
cigarette smoke a mile away.

What's green alcohol rub and where can I get it?
What does "hair of the dog" mean?

"Hair of the dog" is have another go at what got you into the state you are in.Hangovers cured by a good repeat session. In your case another 2 hr hike only faster.

But you said you didn't get stiff so why are you interested in cures for stiffness?

For future references. I am always interested in home remedies to cure all the little ailments that come with
age or due to other activities. My grandmother used
to have an abundance of home remedies, unfortunately
they went down to the grave with her.

Do you believe in home remedies?

Ah, youth!! Laughing
Green alchohol is rubbing alchohol with wintergreen mint added mmmmmmm Razz
(My sense of smell almost RULES me at times.)

'hair of the dog' is an old drinking quote, meaning: have a bit more in the morning, after pitching a toot the night before- and it will help the hangover. Thus, we often use the phrase when we mean 'repeat the exercise' a little to stay sharp. (In my case, to stay ambulatory)

Is most of my knowledge mere trivia, or do I just feel that way? Smile

No, no, ollady, english is not my native tongue, so there are some expressions I'm still not familiar with. Rubbing alcohol I do know (and have) but it's not green.

Maybe I could use minty mouthwash to mix it?

For sure I believe in "home" remedies. But there is a chance that they are not the same ones that other people have faith in.

But I don't know about minty mouthwash.

What's that for?

spendius, I use minty mouthwash to freshen my breath,
but it might help with rubbing alcohol too Mr. Green

No, ollady, no Walgreen here and the nearest Walmart
is quite a distance too.
I'm not going hiking today and I'm not stiff, so I can wait Wink

Any other home remedies?
